2010 Events (January 2010)

The Events Calendar page (where you will find a number of kit and/or classic car events) has been updated with events for 2010. This now updates automatically as I add new events to it.

The supporting web sites are now listed seperately on the Events Websites page.

Smartscreen (August 2009)

A Smartscreen intermittent wiper control unit has been added in the Modifications section.

New Host for this Website (August 2009)

Please note that I have changed my website host from Demon homepages to Streamline.net and the correct URL for this website is now www.ngkitcar.co.uk.

If you have found this site via a search engine or an old link to www.woodfield5.demon.co.uk please note that this will cease to exist in due course so please adjust your favourite link.

2009 Events (July 2009)

NEW! - I have added a Google Calendar which shows the NG events in a different format. This will update automatically from my personal master list of NG events.

2009 Events (June 2009)

The Events page has been updated with events for 2009 (where you will find a number of kit and/or classic car events and supporting web sites listed).

Extra modifications (April 2009)

The Modifications section has been added to as follows:
  • New section - fitting headlamp relays
  • New section - fitting a lighter socket
  • Replaced alternator under Repairs

PDF files available for viewing (April 2009)

I have added to the collection of PDF (Portable Document Format) files which give some of the more technical details in a convenient form which can be saved and/or printed more readily for reference. PDF files can be read with Adobe Reader which may be downloaded free from the Adobe web site; links are provided for this wherever my PDF files are available.

The PDF files now available are:

Site Map now operational (November 2008)

It may have been a long time coming but at long last I have completed the Site Map! This shows the structure of the website and gives a link to each individual page within it. I hope to improve the look and feel of this in due course but at least it is now functional. You will find a link to the Site Map at the top right of every main page.

Updates (October 2008)

Under Modifications I have added a couple of badge bar badges in the grille section and a couple of repairs.

Extra modifications (Jun 2008)

The Modifications section. has been added to as follows:
  • Further detail about the Radiator Grille and cowl
  • Details of a new coil under Electronic Ignition
  • A new section about alterations to the Spare Wheel Attachment
  • Replaced heater valve under Repairs

Overhaul of supplementary pages (March 2008)

The build section has links to well over 100 supplementary pages to give further details. I have recently been giving these a revised look so as to be in keeping with the rest of the site. This work is now complete. The proposed Site Map and Gallery now need my attention!

Future Developments

Here are some of the additional features I intend to include in the future:
  • Site map (probably in tabular form) so you can go straight to the page you want
  • Photo gallery of various NGs
  • Timeline of major events (to see how long each stage took)
  • Picture progression of the main stages.
